We acknowledge the Birpai people as the original custodians of this land on which we learn and work. We commit to building strong relationships with all First Nations People in our area.

Our focus is to provide a holistic approach to education and nurture relationships with our families and the wider community. We value the connectedness of mind, body, and spirit as learning pathways. Our peaceful, caring environment provides the children with many opportunities to use ‘One hundred different ways’ to make meaning of their world. (Loris Malaguzzi)

History

Hastings Preschool was built in 1986 as a not-for-profit, community-based long day care centre and preschool.

Philosophy

Our centre complies with the National Quality Standards, the Early Years Learning Framework and the services policies and procedures.
